Hoffman Industrial Company offers a wide range of industrial services. Our work may include moving anything from large industrial machinery headed to the scrap yard to sensitive equipment going into a new medical facility. Participating in our customers’ planning meetings enables us to understand the full scope of their project, including safety regulations and logistical details.

Machinery & Equipment Moving

At Hoffman Industrial Company, moving large equipment and machinery is all in a day’s work. Whether a customer needs to transport and install a large tool into their garage workshop or break down and relocate an entire machine shop, we have the right equipment and proper insurance to satisfy our customers’ needs. We have the right tractors, trailers, forklifts, cranes, and rigging equipment to get the job done, and we constantly evaluate our fleet of equipment to make sure we are able to accommodate our customers’ needs.

Our sub-contractor relationships also enable us to provide more than just setting a machine in place. We are able to transport any machine from the factory through installation, and to assist with disposal of old equipment through sale, storage, or scrapping.

Warehouse Storage

Hoffman has over 50,000 square feet of first floor storage space for large machinery and equipment. We accommodate all sizes of equipment for short-term or long-term storage and offer competitive pricing.

Hauling and other Transportation Services

Hoffman Industrial provides transportation services for heavy equipment and machinery for local or foreign delivery. If equipment is oversize we will provide special hauling permits and a scheduled delivery date. We treat our customers’ equipment as if were our own.

For shipping to foreign ports, our services include wrapping equipment in plastic wrap to protect it from salt water exposure. Stamped approved lumber for foreign port delivery is used. We also place equipment in containers and support it with staging lumber for rough sea travel. We will provide export markings on the crates that require special handling.

Used Equipment Resale and Scrap

Upgrading equipment leads to disposal of old equipment. We can provide assistance in the resale of used equipment by taking advantage of our network of machinery brokers to help sell the machinery to a third party, or purchasing and reselling the machinery ourselves. When the machinery does not have enough resale value we assist the customer by dismantling the old equipment into small enough pieces to haul it to scrap yards.

Fabrication

Hoffman can accommodate customers who require custom steel fabrication in conjunction with a rigging job. We quote a price on fabrication from the customers’ drawings and specifications, or we will provide AutoCAD drawings for customer approval and quoting purposes. Hoffman also provides consultation services and recommendations to our customers when they face design challenges.

Project Management
